ATOCIN

• Used to assist dams during and after parturition especially in the following cases uterine inertia, retained placenta, postpartum hemorrhage, uterine torsion or prolapse during pregnancy.

• Also used in cases of weak or ceased milk production associated with mastitis or hypocalcaemia.

• It helps reduce labor pain and strengthens uterine contractions to facilitate delivery (only when full cervical dilation is confirmed).

• It also aids in returning the uterus to its normal position after parturition.

For I.M or S.C administration

• Horses and cows: 4 – 5 ml per animal
• Sheep, goats: 1 – 3 ml per animal
• Dogs: 0.5 – 1 ml per animal
• Cats: 0.3 – 0.5 ml per animal

If necessary repeat after 2 – 3 hours.
